DATES:

Friday July 30th to Sunday August 1st, 2010

SHORESIDE REGISTRATION & EVENTS SITE:

Cowichan Tribes' Kil-Pah-Las beach at the east end of Cowichan Bay Village on the east side of the Ocean Grand Resort and Marina.

MOORAGE:

Participants are responsible for making their own moorage arrangements. Be prepared to anchor out.

There will be no tying to the floating breakwater.

Water taxis will be available (for a small fee) for those anchoring out.

Moorage at Cowichan Bay Fishermans Wharf (the old Government dock) will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, no reservations available. All boats should register with Kato (who will be looking after things for the weekend) upon arrival.

The Marinas in the area will try and accommodate as many vessels as possible.

There will be a dock master on-site Friday, times and VHF channel will be posted here later as well as a sign on the Event Site.

ACCOMMODATION:

Limited camping and RV spaces will be available on the beach site. The gate will open at 3pm on the Friday.   NO FIRES. Don't drink the water.

There is hotel accommodation available in Duncan and there are several B&Bs in Cowichan Bay.

MARGARITA PARTY:

Our free Margarita beach party will be held on Saturday, starting around 1830 hrs. Be sure to thank UK-Halsey Sailmakers Northwest, our generous host for this party.

SKIPPERS MEETING:

Saturday July 31st at 1000 in front of the event platform at the beach.

COOK THE COW BBQ:

Steak and all the fixings is the offering Saturday evening for $12 a plate. A vegetarian substitution will be available.

ROCKIN ROBIN:

Beach Party tunes will be provided by our favorite D.J. Dancing will commence following dinner Saturday night.

PLEASE NOTE:

* Parking is very limited; the organizing committee request, if at all possible, to please car-pool your crew to the site.

* Registration, Souvenir sales, Dinner and Raffle tickets will be available at the Regatta Platform.
